MPM proudly congratulates Founding Member Luis C. Marini for being ranked Band 1 in Dispute Resolution: Bankruptcy by Chambers & Partners Latin America. This is the highest ranking awarded. For the past 14 consecutive years, Luis has been the only attorney in Puerto Rico to receive this top ranking in Bankruptcy under Dispute Resolution.

Luis helps clients maximize value through both courtroom and transactional work. He specializes in all aspects of insolvency and business restructuring across industries, including commercial real estate, and represents financial institutions, private equity funds, purchasers of distressed assets, and other parties in complex restructuring and bankruptcy matters. Since 2018, he has led MPM’s representation of the Government of Puerto Rico in the financial restructuring of its debt, the most significant municipal restructuring in recent history.
