Getzemarie is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

She participated in MPM’s Summer Program in 2022 and thereafter worked as a paralegal until she graduated in 2023.

Getzemarie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus where she graduated in 2020 (Magna Cum Laude). She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2023 (Magna Cum Laude). During law school, she was the Spokesperson of ENLACE con Escuelas Públicas Pro Bono and obtained a Certification on Legal Skills for Resilient Recovery focused on Grants and Federal Contracting (UPR Resiliency Law Center). While in law school, she also served as an intern to the Hon. Maritere Brignoni Mártir at the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals.
