Claudia specializes in commercial litigation and appellate practice. She has assisted clients in multifaceted litigation cases across trial and appellate courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. She also handles a diverse range of issues, including contract disputes, collection of monies, insurance claims, and mass tort litigation.
Before joining the firm, Claudia served as a Senior Law Clerk for Associate Justice Ángel Colón Pérez at the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico.
Claudia holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School with a concentration in Constitutional Law. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. During her tenure at the University of Puerto Rico, she contributed to the Law Review and also pioneered a digital publishing initiative titled In Rev. Her scholarly contributions include a law review article discussing political representation within Puerto Rico’s Legislative Assembly.
Claudia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. In her undergraduate years, she was selected to participate in the Córdova & Fernós Internship Program in Washington, D.C., serving as an intern for Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand (D-NY).
In 2023, Claudia was appointed by the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico to fulfill the crucial role of grading the Puerto Rico Bar Exam.
Claudia is authorized to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
