16 Jul $43M Puerto Rico Development Project Receives Legal Support from MPM
Marini Pietrantoni Muñiz LLC (“MPM”) is proud to have played a key role in the successful closing of Oasis, a transformative $43 million development financing transaction in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In this critical project, MPM provided legal representation to the Departamento de la Vivienda and the Investment Portfolio for Growth Program (IPG).
Led by Adriana Capacete Cabassa and including Mariana Nácer-Elizalde and other MPM attorneys, the firm provided crucial legal support throughout the complex financing process. This included navigating the unique legal and regulatory challenges associated with this groundbreaking social impact hub, which will serve as a vital resource for the Villa Paredes community.
Oasis is a 134,000-square-foot development that will include a tuition-free public charter school, a health clinic, and a workforce incubator space, all designed to address the community’s pressing needs. This project exemplifies the power of public-private partnerships to drive positive social and economic change in Puerto Rico.
MPM is honored to have contributed to this vital initiative and continues to be committed to supporting projects that improve the lives of Puerto Rican communities.
