Hedy I. Nieves Crespo

Hedy is an associate at Marini Pietrantoni Muñiz. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

 

Prior to joining Marini Pietrantoni Muñiz LLC, Hedy served as a law clerk at the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals (2020) and also as a senior law clerk to the Hon. Ángel Colón Pérez at the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico (2021-2022).

 

She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2020 (Summa Cum Laude). While in law school, she was a member of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review, where she served as Editor and published an article on the rights of minors under the Puerto Rico Civil Code. As part of her studies, she also served as an intern to the Hon. Luis F. Estrella Martínez at the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico.

 

Hedy also holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Puerto Rico, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude (2011), and a MA in Anthropology and Ethnography from the University of Barcelona, Spain (2014).
